I wish I had this in college

We're talking about some pretty heavy hardware hacking here, so this guide isn't for the faint of heart, but it is a fun idea. The results, as you can see in the video, aren't bad (if he weren't doing it to a dorm room, the author says he could have integrated the system a bit more seamlessly with the door and lock), but if you're really looking to impress, the previously mentioned guide to setting up RFID access to your front door won't disappoint.
